En masse North Dakota is a movement-based work depicting personal stories of North Dakotans based on experiences of joy, growth, and connection. Directed by choreographer and Bismarck native Vanessa Voskuil, En masse North Dakota, (meaning “all together”) is a communal work that celebrates shared stories and love of North Dakota community. Participants come from diverse backgrounds in age and performing experience. 

 All performances are free to the public but free will donations are appreciated.

ABOUT
Ten Months out of a year, dance maker, curator and MC, Laurie Van Wieren, brings three dance makers of varying styles and experiences to the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater to share and discuss works-in-progress as well as finished dances with a lively audience. The mission of 9x22 Dance/Lab is to encourage and present all styles of dance exploration, and to foster engaged dialogue between performers and audience.
